The Thanksgiving Feast was a success over 200 people attended, over half of the parents came picked up midterm grades.
For Title One Math, The QA Math classes will be building bridges and crushing them with force, this will happen second quarter. In the Spring, Title One monies will be used to provide hands on experience to the students in regard to Math and English. One idea is to have students go to Walmart and have a set amount of money to spend and see how many items the can obtain and teach them about sales and spending wisely. We want to take them out to community business to see how Math is used in everyday professions.
The First Annual Food Drive for the school was a big success. The students brought in over 1200 items of food.
We will be having a Talent Show on December 19th, for the students to show off their music talents.
Four Lighthouse Employees just got CPR certified.
Trustlands Budget- The progress report was just completed on last years budget which included the Health Class items that were bought. This years budget will be used to buy a smartboard for Mrs. Larsen's class and a Hearing Enhancement System for the computer lab.
We will have 12 new openings at semester break for new students coming in. |
